One-year-old Avo not doing well recently

Postby Suzi » Tue Aug 22, 2017 11:55 am

Hi avocado experts,

I am new to gardening and just planted an Avo from pit a year ago. Lately it has been curling it's new leaves and we have tried to change most of the soil. Now the curling seems to have slowed down, but the new leaves are having a brownish shade and apparently not healthy still. (Pictures:

I've searched online and found that possible issues include salt accumulation from watering, or root rot. I'm wondering what method you would recommend for removing salts in water? And I'm also thinking about getting phosphite fungicide to treat it. (This is what i could find. https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Laborato ... op?ie=UTF8)
Just wanna get some advice if possible before I try. Thanks in advance!
